Maintenance & Support Plan Renewal 2026

IMPORTANT: Do not reactivate your ExtendSim license after renewing your MSP. Wait until you receive reactivation instructions from ANDRITZ.

This portal is used to renew the Maintenance & Support Plan (MSP) for an ExtendSim Perpetual license. Customers with active Subscription licenses already receive updates, upgrades, and technical support as part of their subscription and do not need to purchase an MSP.

To renew your MSP:

• Select the package you are renewing and whether its an Individual or Node-Locked license.
• Complete the end user name and email fields.
• Enter your 16-digit ExtendSim Activation Key, including the dashes.

If you are renewing MSP coverage for multiple licenses, add each license renewal to your cart separately using its corresponding Activation Key.

Benefits of an Active Maintenance & Support Plan

New purchases of ExtendSim Perpetual licenses include the first year of MSP. Maintaining an active MSP provides for:

• Access to all updates, patches, and compatibility fixes, plus upgrades to new major releases.
• Receive technical support for basic usage and troubleshooting questions such as:
• Assistance with software download, installation, and setup.
• Guidance on ExtendSim features and usage.
• Referrals to example models and documentation that explain concepts and features.
• Creation of simple sample models on a limited basis.
• Answers to questions about documentation and example models.
• Recommendations for improving model performance and efficiency.
• Basic assistance troubleshooting unexpected model behavior.
• Move your ExtendSim license from one device to another.
  
• Experience, evaluate, and influence future products and features.

For the benefits to continue in subsequent years, the MSP must be renewed by the anniversary date of the license activation as shown on your About ExtendSim screen.

MSP Policy

Renewal fees for ExtendSim Perpetual licenses must be paid within 30 days of your renewal date. If your MSP expires, you will still be able to use ExtendSim to build and run models, but:

• Free upgrades to major releases are no longer an option.
• Software updates and upgrades will no longer be available for the expired license.
• You will not be able to move or reinstall your license.
• Technical Support remains available, but must be purchased on a Per-Incident Basis.

Reinstatement fees may apply if an expired MSP needs to be reactivated. In all cases of reinstatement, the MSP will be back-dated to the original expiration date.

Reinstating an expired MSP

• Renewing up to 30 days after the expiration date.
  No penalty.
• Between 30 and 365 days past expiration.
  The plan can be reinstated upon payment of a reinstatement surcharge of 15% of the renewal fee in addition to the annual MSP fee.
• Between 1 and 2 years past the expiration date.
  The plan can be reinstated upon payment of a reinstatement surcharge of 50% of the renewal fee.
• Between 2 and 3 years past the expiration date.
  After a 2-year lapse, the Maintenance & Support Plan is terminated. We offer a 25% discount toward the purchase of an equivalent new license. A new MSP will go into effect based on the new purchase date.
• More than 3 years past its expiration date.
  The Maintenance & Support Plan is terminated. You must purchase a new license at list price.

In all cases of reinstatement, the MSP will be back-dated to the original renewal date.

Your Purchase Includes

Once you’ve completed your purchase, you will receive 2 emails:

• "ExtendSim Order #050..." containing your invoice and details of your renewal.
• Within one business day, you'll receive a second email from ANDRITZ Inc. that:
• Confirms the License Management System has been updated to reflect your renewed MSP.
• Provides instructions for reactivating your license so the updated MSP expiration date is displayed in ExtendSim.
