ExtendSim Pro 2026

ExtendSim Pro 2026 is the most comprehensive edition of ExtendSim including all capabilities found in ExtendSim CP, along with advanced technologies for discrete event, discrete rate, reliability, and agent-based simulation in a single integrated simulation environment.

With ExtendSim 2026, ExtendSim DE has been merged into ExtendSim Pro, creating one powerful package for building, analyzing, and optimizing complex systems across manufacturing, supply chains, healthcare, logistics, infrastructure, engineering, and business operations. ExtendSim Pro also includes advanced Python integration, enhanced diagnostics, improved reporting tools, and extensive performance and usability improvements.

License Types

Subscription license

An ExtendSim Subscription license gives you continuous access to the latest release of ExtendSim — no upgrade costs, ever. An active Subscription includes:

• Access to all updates, patches, and compatibility fixes, plus upgrades to new major releases.
• Full technical assistance with installation, activation, troubleshooting, and basic usage questions.
• Predictable annual budgeting at a lower upfront cost for new licenses.
• Your work remains yours forever. If a Subscription is not renewed, ExtendSim will no longer launch; however, all models, blocks, and libraries you create remain your property and are not tied to the Subscription.

Renew anytime if a Subscription lapses.

Best for: Teams who want a low entry price and simple annual pricing for the latest features, updates, upgrades, and support.

Perpetual license + Maintenance & Support Plan (MSP)

A Perpetual license provides permanent lifetime ownership of whichever ExtendSim product and release you purchase. Coupling a Perpetual License with an annual MSP provides ongoing access to technical support, product updates, major upgrades, and other benefits that help you maximize your ExtendSim investment. The first year of the MSP is included with every new Perpetual ExtendSim Pro license. Maintaining an active MSP provides for:

• Access to all updates, patches, and compatibility fixes, plus upgrades to new major releases.
• Full technical assistance with installation, activation, troubleshooting, and basic usage questions.
• After the first year, MSP must be renewed annually to remain active. If MSP lapses, you may continue using your licensed ExtendSim release indefinitely, but you will no longer receive updates, upgrades, or MSP benefits.

Best for: Organizations that prefer long-term software ownership and want to avoid an expiring license. Also ideal for customers upgrading existing ExtendSim licenses that are current on MSP.

License Options

Individual -- Choose an Individual license when ExtendSim will be used by a single user, or when multiple users each need dedicated, full-time access to ExtendSim. Purchase one license for each user's device. If you will be running an Individual license on a virtual machine or via RDP, contact the ExtendSim Team at Sales.ExtendSim@Andritz.com and provide the username so activation can be enabled.

Node-Locked -- Choose a Node-Locked license when ExtendSim will be installed on a single shared device. Multiple users can access and use ExtendSim on that device, but only one person can use it at a time. This option is ideal for computers in secure facilities, labs, or other controlled environments.

Note: Node-Locked licenses cannot be activated on virtual machines. For multiple users sharing a virtual machine, request a quote for a Floating license.

Floating -- A Floating license lets you install ExtendSim on as many machines as you need; the license server manages a pool of concurrent-use tokens, so any licensed user can check one out from any installed machine. This suits 3 or more people who use ExtendSim part-time, and also a single user who needs access from multiple machines (e.g. one for production work, one for development). Floating licenses are not available in the ExtendSim Store and must be ordered directly through Andritz Inc. or your ExtendSim Distributor.

Pro Advanced Capabilities

ExtendSim Pro 2026 offers access to discrete event simulation and provides advanced simulation and analysis capabilities, combining Discrete Event, Discrete Rate, Reliability and agent-based modeling in a single integrated environment for complex systems analysis:

• Discrete Event Simulation for modeling manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, transportation, business processes, and other event-driven systems.
• Discrete Rate Modeling for systems involving tanks, levels, pipelines, valves, flow networks, and rate-based movement of materials.
• Reliability Block Diagramming (RBD) for evaluating equipment availability, maintenance strategies, failure modes, and system reliability. The Reliability module can be used as a standalone RBD tool or integrated directly into simulation models.
• Python Integration through the new Python Bridge block, enabling direct communication with Python code, standard Python libraries, analytics workflows, machine learning tools, and external applications. Note: The Python Bridge block is also available in ExtendSim CP.
• Enhanced Diagnostics and Notification Center that centralizes status messages, warnings, errors, and model output into a persistent, searchable log for easier troubleshooting and development.
• Open-Source Libraries — All ExtendSim libraries are open source, giving users the freedom to access the underlying code and build their own custom blocks. Pro ships the broadest set of libraries, giving you the most code to build from.
• Stat::Fit Distribution Fitting Software for analyzing historical data and identifying probability distributions that best represent system behavior.
• Includes all ExtendSim CP capabilities.

Since simulation is processor-intensive, we recommend that your computer have a powerful central processing unit (CPU). The processor should be as fast as possible and it must be 64-bit.

What You'll Receive After Purchase

Once you’ve completed your purchase, you will receive three emails from us:

1. "ExtendSim Order #050..." containing your invoice and purchase details.
