A Floating license lets you install ExtendSim on as many machines as you need; the license server manages a pool of concurrent-use tokens, so any licensed user can check one out from any installed machine. This suits 3 or more people who use ExtendSim part-time, and also a single user who needs access from multiple machines (e.g. one for production work, one for development). Floating licenses are not available in the ExtendSim Store and must be ordered directly through ExtendSim Team at ANDRITZ Inc. or your ExtendSim Distributor.
Subscription Renewal
IMPORTANT: Do not reactivate your ExtendSim license immediately after renewing your Subscription. Wait until you receive reactivation instructions from ANDRITZ.
This portal is used to renew an ExtendSim Subscription license.
To renew your ExtendSim Subscription:
- Select the package you are renewing and whether it is an Individual or Node-Locked license.
- Complete the end user name and email fields.
- Enter your 16-digit ExtendSim Activation Key, including the dashes.
If you are renewing Subscription coverage for multiple licenses, add each license renewal to your cart separately using its corresponding Activation Key.
Benefits of an Active Subscription
An ExtendSim Subscription provides continuous access to the latest release of ExtendSim, including all minor updates and major upgrades at no additional cost. As long as your Subscription is active, you can:
- Access to all updates, patches, and compatibility fixes, plus upgrades to new major releases.
- Receive technical support for basic usage and troubleshooting questions such as:
- Assistance with software download, installation, and setup.
- Guidance on ExtendSim features and usage.
- Referrals to example models and documentation that explain concepts and features.
- Creation of simple sample models on a limited basis.
- Answers to questions about documentation and example models.
- Recommendations for improving model performance and efficiency.
- Basic assistance troubleshooting unexpected model behavior.
- Move your ExtendSim license from one device to another.
- Experience, evaluate, and influence future products and features.
To maintain uninterrupted access to ExtendSim, your Subscription must be renewed by the expiration date shown on the About ExtendSim screen.
If Your Subscription Expires
Your work remains yours. If your Subscription expires, ExtendSim will no longer launch; however, all models, custom blocks, libraries, and other content you create remain your property and are not tied to the Subscription.
If your Subscription lapses, you may renew at any time to regain access to ExtendSim.
Your Purchase Includes
Once you’ve completed your purchase, you will receive 2 emails:
- "ExtendSim Order #050..." containing your invoice and details of your renewal.
- Within one business day, you'll receive a second email from ANDRITZ Inc. that:
- Confirms that the License Management System has been updated to reflect your renewed Subscription.
- Provides instructions for reactivating your license so the updated Subscription expiration date is displayed in ExtendSim and you can continue to launch ExtendSim.
